Natural Soap - Handmade Soap - Olive Oil Soap

Wednesday, September 08, 2010

We are a small family business located near Austin, TX in operation since 1995. We incorporate our life long interest in native plants and herbalism into our unique formulas. Our mission and our passion is to provide you with truly natural products handmade with real ingredients that are safe for all living things and a joy to use while raising awareness of the many benefits of using responsibly wildcrafted and organically grown botanicals. A portion of our profits are donated each year to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and United Plant Savers.

Our natural products are biodegradable, cruelty free, minimally packaged, and do not contain synthetic fragrance oils, preservatives, petroleum products, FD&C colorants or dyes, parabens, phthalates, sodium lauryl or laureth sulfates, antibacterial triclosan, TEA, or other harmful chemicals. We use only sustainable certified organic palm oil in our soap recipes so we don't contribute to the depletion of the rainforest. Unlike many bath companies, we've chosen not to purchase any cheap bath accessories from China. We try to be mindful of every purchase we make and strive to support fair trade, organic, and sustainable businesses.

We're commited to protecting our environment by re-using all boxes and packaging materials, buying only biodegradable packing peanuts, keeping printed materials & packaging to a bare minimum, printing on recycled de-inked 100% post consumer waste paper, recycling all paper and plastic, reclaiming water from the evaporation in our drying room for soap production, and using reuseable cloth rags for clean up rather than disposable paper towels.

We're proud to be working with Clean the World to help provide soap worldwide to those in need.  We've also been offsetting all of our manufacturing facility's carbon footprint through the Carbonfund.org Carbonfree business program since 2007. We maintain a natural wildlife habitat on our property, garden organically, and all of our employees walk to work. Together we CAN make a difference!

Thanks for your interest and support.
